The Museum of the Home, located in London’s East End, offers a unique glimpse into the history of domestic life.  Their purpose is to reveal and rethink the ways we live, fostering a deeper understanding of home. 

Myceen was invited to collaborate in their new exhibition in the Innovo Room of the Future, where 26 of our custom-made acoustic wall panels were installed.
This exhibition imagines how a future living room might look like reflecting the societal and technological changes.

Tehnopol is a prominent science and business park in Tallinn, Estonia - the largest one in the Baltics. Their main aim is to support cutting-edge technology entrepreneurship with a focus on making the Estonian economy more sustainable by accelerating the growth of technology-based businesses. Numerous well-known names like Skype and Starship Technologies are based here. Myceen has had the honour of being a part of the acceleration program as well.
Furthermore, we took part in a conference in Tehnopol (in cooperation with CleanTech Estonia) that connected start-ups and 120 honorary consuls from all over the world, to help them get better acquainted with Estonia’s green technology sector and to discuss how to help Estonian companies enter foreign markets and attract investments.

Exhibition: Upmade in Estonia, Lafayette Gallery, 2024

In addition to showcasing cutting-edge design, NYCxDESIGN also focuses on sustainability and innovation. Many of the featured projects and installations highlight eco-friendly practices and materials, reflecting the growing importance of sustainable design in the industry.
The exhibit “Upmade in Estonia” at NY Design Week showcased the innovative and sustainable design practices of Estonian designers, highlighting their contributions towards circular economy and digital innovation.

New York Design Week

This article concentrates on the regulations that have been established in Europe, especially for the building sector. These regulations give power to already existing and emerging deep tech solutions who aim to make the world more sustainable. In addition, the wider public is expecting a faster employment of sustainable and innovative methods to speed up the remediation process.

Hello Tomorrow Global Summit 

Wevux is an online resource dedicated to documenting and sharing innovative projects and companies focused on sustainable material experimentation. It aims to promote the development and use of new, eco-friendly materials by providing detailed information about various projects and their geographical locations. 
The Materials Design Map is an interactive tool within this database. It allows users to explore and locate projects related to new materials worldwide. The initiative supports the circular economy by encouraging the development of local, sustainable solutions and fostering connections between designers, companies and potential sponsors.

High Ground Cafe in London ordered 26 large panels from Myceen. Not only did they improve the acoustics, but they also elevated the overall design and ambiance of the space, earning daily admiration from their guests.
